Abstract
Cultural characteristics of 26 strains of chromogenic acid-fast bacilli isolated from patients with, or suspected of having, tuberculosis were detd. These organisms varied markedly in their growth requirements. They resembled Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pigment production was constant on Corper-Cohn medium.Keywords
