Abstract
A database was constructed for the routine identification of Enterobacteriaceae and Gram negative rods growing aerobically on MacConkey agar. The test methods were based primarily on multipoint inoculation technology. The final database was constructed from the laboratory results of 4989 clinical isolates and 66 reference strains and was extensively analysed and evaluated. The proposed scheme is rapid, reliable, and cheap. This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
