Abstract
The fibrinogenolytic and fibrinolytic activity of protease I and II were studied by different methods and in some cases by comparison with trypsin. Protease I possessed stronger fibrinolytic activity than protease II, and there was no great difference in the susceptibility of fibrin and fibrinogen to the action of protease I. There is also evidence that protease II proteolyzes fibrinogen at a much greater rate than fibrin. Keywords
