Abstract
Summary: A randomized trial of high vacuum Redivac drains and low vacuum Portovac drains has been conducted in 46 female patients undergoing simple mastectomy through a transverse skin incision. The Redivac units drained less fluid, stayed in place for a day less than the Portovac units and were emptied once less often. Keywords
