Abstract
The development of 90Sr-induced intramedullary osteosarcoma buds was studied after transplantation to syngenous mice. The buds are autonomous and are not dependent upon the continued presence of 90sr in their environment in order to maintain their potentially malignant properties and develop into osteosarcoma.
