Abstract
We report an unusual case of primary, right psoas abscess caused byProteus mirabilis which developed three years after ipsilateral nephrectomy. The diagnosis was established by computer tomography, recommended today as superior to other diagnostic methods of demonstration for the retroperitoneum. Wir berichten über èinen ungewöhnlichen Fall eines primären Psoasabszesses auf der rechten Seite, verursacht durchProteus mirabilis, der sich drei Jahre nach einer Nephrektomie auf derselben Seite entwickelt hatte. Die Diagnose wurde durch Computer-Tomographie gestellt, die heute als diagnostische Methode für die Darstellung des Retroperitoneum empfohlen wird und anderen Methoden überlegen ist.Keywords
