Abstract
A previously unrecognized subgroup of “eosinophilic gastroenteritis” is described which is associated with connective tissue diseases. Large numbers of mast cells and a distinctive pattern of tissue involvement are characteristic morphologic features. Recognition of this entity has potentially important diagnostic and pathogenic implications. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
