Polarization-insensitive MZI switch composed of an LN phase shifter array and silica-based PLC-integrated polarization beam splitter

Abstract
We successfully demonstrate the polarization-insensitive operation of an MZI-based LN switch with PLC-integrated polarization beam splitter/combiners. The switch functions for both polarizations with a PDL of 0.1 dB and a switching speed of 40 ps.Keywords
