Abstract
Bonito insulin-XT can be resolved to glycyl (A) and alanyl (B) peptide chains only after performic acid treatment. Of 6 -S-S- groups in A chain one is intrapeptide linkage and two are participated in interpeptide linkages. Bonito B chain contains 6 different amino acids (proline, phenylalanine and 3 basic amino acids) from bovine B chain. The difference in the sequence of bonito B chain from bovine B chain was determined as: alanylalanylasparag(in)ylglutam(in) ylprolyllysine. Keywords
