Abstract
Polarized regions in Polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) have been imaged in scanning electron-microscopy by means of potential contrast at 2 keV. The contrast is observed to be dependent on temperature changes of the sample as well as on the angle of electron incidence. This method of imaging small polarized domains could be important for the application of PVDF as a ferroelectric memory. Keywords
