Abstract
A computation is described which reveals the exact values of the propagation constants of the TE modes in rectangular wave guide loaded with a transversely magnetized ferrite slab over a frequency interval which includes resonance. Magnetic losses are included in the analysis. It is shown that the way in which the modes link through resonance depends upon the value of the magnetic damping parameter, and further that they generally link in such a way that an interference between two or more modes will occur. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
