Abstract
A model is considered for the strong interactions of pions, mesons, nucleons, and hyperons. A system of interactions is postulated and several features of the experimental situation are discussed from the new viewpoint. No restrictions are placed upon the coupling parameters involved other than that they characterize a system of strongly interacting particles.
