Abstract
Earlier Contributions to the Study of GranulocytopoiesisGranulocyte Transit TimeThe present state of knowledge on the formation and proliferation of granulocyte precursors and their development into mature forms is mainly the result of recent advances in radioactive-tracer methods and their application as outlined in the first section of this paper. However, it is of interest to review earlier contributions in this field obtained with various methods and to endeavor to confirm or reject some of the earlier conclusions. The quantitative studies on the turnover of granulocytes in the blood were initiated by Sabin et al.38 They observed the fraction . . .Keywords
