New Measurement of theH3ΛLifetime

We have measured the mean life of ${}_{\Lambda }{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}_{}^3{}_{}{}^{}$ to be (${2.32}_{-0.34\mathrm{}}^{+0.45\mathrm{}}$)×${10}^{-10\mathrm{}}$ sec. This does not agree with previous measurements but is completely consistent with theoretical expectations.
