Abstract
We have studied the 19F NMR of the TlSn2F5 compound at various temperatures and frequencies. While the measured T1 shows a classical behaviour for T < 358 K, as is generally observed in ionic conductors, it undergoes a sudden increase at T ∼ 358 K corresponding to a change in the crystallographic space group. For higher temperatures, the observed behaviour is consistent with a very high mobility of the fluorine atoms. These results are compared with those obtained by conductivity measurements which make this compound one of the best ionic conductors via the F- ionsKeywords
