Abstract
A three-year study has been made of serum levels and nutrient intake of a group of male and female school children. Under the conditions of this investigation and for the values shown, the nutrient intakes of ascorbic acid, total vitamin A, and carotene reflect serum levels of ascorbic acid, vitamin A, and carotene, respectively. Serum levels of ascorbic acid, vitamin A, and carotene reflect nutrient intake of ascorbic acid, total vitamin A, and carotene, respectively. Relationships were not found between serum levels of vitamin A and nutrient intake of vitamin A per se.Keywords
