Abstract
Neuropsychiatric disorders in the elderly, such as dementia, depression, anxiety, and psychosis, may occur alone or in combination with neurologic or medical illness. Geriatricians must be familiar not only with diagnostic issues but also with treatment options and medication-induced alterations in mental status.Keywords
