Abstract
The lattice location of Eu3+ in LiNbO3 single crystals has been investigated by Rutherford backscattering channeling techniques. It has been concluded that Eu3+ lies partly at the Nb (64%) and Li (36%) sites but not at the intrinsic vacant site. Keywords
