Abstract
Cercaria amnicolensis (Psilostomatidae), C. wesenberg-lundi (Notocotylidae), and C. parapleurolophocercoides (Pleuro-lophocerca) are described from studies of intramolluscan and free-living stages, obtained from specimens of Amnicola pilsbryi collected in New York. Observations are made with respect to the distribtion and frequency of infection, in A. pilsbryi. and results of infection experiments with all 3 spp. are reported. The life cycle of C. wesenberg-lundi is experimentally shown to involve 2 hosts, A. pilsbri and the chick. No other host was found for any of the 3 spp. described.
