Abstract
Low concentrations of ionic detergents with 8 or more carbons in the alkyl chain were predicted to shift the native-denatured transition in the lysozyme to denatured state. Fatty acids were found to exert a similar effect and their participation was proposed in proteolysis of alimentary canal digestion and intracellular catabolism. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
