Abstract
The fermentative metabolism of C. perfringens was studied using glucose specifically labeled with C14. Evidence is presented which indicates that although the Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas pathway is in part operative in this organism, a different terminal pathway exists, probably involving triose metabolism.Keywords
