Abstract
The states associated with the group‐subgroup are unambiguously representable as the stretched product states of just seven elementary multiplets. This result is used to derive a number of branching rules for the decomposition R7 → G2 in a simpler manner than hitherto available. An example of the decomposition of the spin representations of R7 is given.
