Abstract
A partial acid hydrolysate of egg-white lysozyme was fractionated by gradient elution chromatography on sulfonated -polystyrene resin with ammonium formate and acetate buffers. A large number of pep-tides were isolated by chromatography of these fractions on paper, and their structures determined. A number of sequences in the lysozyme molecule were deduced from these results. Keywords
