Abstract
The use of antimicrobials in the mouth, particularly in the form of antiseptic mouth-washes, is widely practised. The purposes for which such treatment is used are very diverse and reports are widely scattered throughout the literature. It is the purpose of this review to bring together diverse literature references and to present a short but comprehensive survey of the subject. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
