Polarization of 9-Mev Protons Elastically Scattered from Magnesium

Abstract
The polarization as a function of angle has been measured for protons elastically scattered from a 1-Mev thick magnesium target with a mean energy of 9.1 Mev. The resulting polarization distribution is compared to a differential cross-section measurement with the same target.Keywords
