Gamma Rays Resulting from Lithium Bombardments of Lithium

Lithium beams of mass 6 and 7 were used to bombard thick targets of ${\mathrm{Li}}^6$F and ${\mathrm{Li}}^7$F. Reactions leading to ${\mathrm{Li}}^7$, ${\mathrm{Be}}^7$, ${\mathrm{Be}}^{10}$, ${\mathrm{B}}^{10}$, ${\mathrm{B}}^{11}$, ${\mathrm{B}}^{12}$, ${\mathrm{C}}^{11}$, ${\mathrm{C}}^{12}$, and ${\mathrm{C}}^{13}$ were identified from direct observation of gamma rays, residual target radiation, and the presence of neutrons.
