Parity violation inγ→+d→n+p

We calculate the asymmetry $A_{\mathrm{cir}}=\frac{\left[\sigma \mathrm{}\right(+)-\sigma \mathrm{}(-\left)\right]}{\left[\sigma \mathrm{}\right(+)+\sigma \mathrm{}(-\left)\right]}$ for the reaction $\overrightarrow{\gamma }d\to \mathrm{np}$, where $\sigma \mathrm{}(+)\mathrm{}$ [$\sigma \mathrm{}(-)\mathrm{}$] is the total cross section for right [left] circularly polarized photons. The calculation is carried out for photon energies up to 30 MeV above threshold in the laboratory system. The result for $A_{\mathrm{cir}}$ is expressed in terms of the effective parity-violating $\mathrm{NN}\pi$, $\mathrm{NN}\rho$, and $\mathrm{NN}\omega$ coupling constants.
