Abstract
The radial energy transfer density distributions around the tracks of fast protons (p), α‐particles, and C‐ions in Si and Ge targets are obtained by the Monte‐Carlo method using individual collision scheme. A semiempirical formula for D(r) is proposed based on these calculations. Some aspects of its application are discussed. Keywords
