Abstract
A highly sensitive, fast response thermistor thermometer for use in measurement of oceanic temperature microstructure has been built and tested. A design criterion of 20 ms response time and 5*10-4 degC resolution was established and attained. Some typical results of microthermal fluctuations obtained at sea are presented. Keywords
