The alcohol-solubility of the anti-dermatitis, more heat-stable vitamin B2 constituent of the vitamin B complex

Abstract
The precipitate formed when alcohol to 56% was added to a solution of B2 at pH 1.5 was inactive; the filtrate possessed only one-half the potency of the original material. The filtrate became inactive on the addition of alcohol to 70%. At pH 3.2, the precipitate and filtrate were both inactive.
