Abstract
Presentation of Case First admission. A three-year-old girl was admitted to the hospital for study of oral moniliasis.Four months previously "belly aches" that were not related to food or accompanied by nausea or vomiting developed, lasting for two to three hours and occurring two or three times a week. The child's appetite had been poor although she had not lost any weight; the stools had been loose. Mouth lesions diagnosed as thrush had first been noted four months before admission and had been treated with gentian violet, without improvement.Physical examination showed a well developed child, and was . . .Keywords
