Abstract
Two new metabolites of exogeneously supplied zeatin have been identified in de-rooted lupin seedlings as L-lupinic acid (2) and O-β- D-glucopyranosylzeatin (3). Their structures have been confirmed by syntheses which provide new and general methods for the preparation of these types of compounds. Keywords
