Abstract
A theory of spin fluctuations is presented for transition-metal alloys of arbitrary concentration using an analog of the coherent-potential approximation of Soven. The model is used to analyze experimental data for the spin susceptibility of paramagnetic Pd-Ni alloys, and it is also possible to calculate the Curie temperatures of ferromagnetic Pd-Ni alloys. Keywords
