CAFE-AU-LAIT SPOTS IN COLORED AND INDIAN-CHILDREN

Abstract
A survey of 270 Indian and 143 colored children was conducted to determine the prevalence of cafe au lait spots and axillary freckling, these both being features of neurofibromatosis. Spots of > 0.5 cm in diameter occurred in .apprx. 40% of the children and freckling in over 4%.
