Abstract
A simple one-component version of Fermi-liquid theory is applied to measurements of the specific heat of U and shown to suggest that U is an odd-parity superconductor of purely electronic origin. The calculated transition temperature as a function of pressure is found to be in quantitative agreement with experiment.
