Abstract
Predictable plasma levels were obtained, those following intraven. being higher than those following subcut. infusion. Penicillin was removed from the plasma by the kidney at rates which indicate that the renal tubular excretory mechanism was principally involved in this process. The relationship of these observations to the use of penicillin in the treatment of human infections is discussed. Keywords
