Abstract
A sample of cleaned human hair was analysed microbiologically for 16 amino acids. The results were compared with previous values obtained chemically on the same sample. Values given for 19 amino acids account for 90% of the expected wt. and 86% of the N, with melanin plus ammonia accounting for another 3% of weight and 7.7% of N.Keywords
