Abstract
Thirty adenomas of the large bowel, removed from 15 females and 15 males, were examined for the presence of estrogen receptor protein. The finding of positive binding capacity in 2 of the 30 adenomas supports the hypothesis that hormonal dependency does not play a major role in the development and growth of colorectal adenomas. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
