Abstract
Injection of crystalline preparations of estrone, progesterone, pregnanediol and testosterone induced retention of Na, chloride and water in normal dogs. In normal women these substances were retained during the intermenstrual and premenstrual periods, when there was also frequently a weight gain. Menstrual onset was accompanied by urinary excretion of Na, chloride and water. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
