Abstract
Preview What may underlie fluid retention in a woman of reproductive age who has no apparent cause for edema? Dr Marks suggests that in this situation you consider idiopathic edema, a common but fortunately benign disorder. He outlines procedures for diagnosis and therapy and also evaluates several intriguing hypotheses proposed to explain the disorder. Keywords
