Abstract
The present knowledge regarding the pathogenesis of thrombosis is reviewed. New conceptions and technics involving physical principles are outlined. Hitherto unemphasized aspects of thrombosis are discussed. The present status of anticoagulant therapy is summarized. The effects of other factors on the action of anticoagulants are considered.Keywords
