Abstract
Return extrasystoles caused by the return of a stimulus originating in the A-V node from the auricle to the ventricle were observed in 2 new exptl. situations in dogs. They appeared on warming of the A-V node through an opening of the wall of the right auricle and they were seen when the sinus and the A-V node were depressed by a subepicardial injn. of a hypertonic soln. of CaCl2 in the area of the sinus node. The return extrasystoles appeared in both instances when the R-P interval reached a certain length.
