Abstract
The infrared absorption of inversion electrons on InSb is measured in a magnetic field parallel to the inversion layer. The experimental results are explained by a simple model of surface electrons in crossed electric and magnetic fields. The dependence on resonance magnetic field and electron density shows a transition from two-dimensional- (2D) to 3D-like motion of the electrons. Keywords
