Levels inRu97fromRu96(d, p)

Abstract
The Ru96(d, p)Ru97 reaction was studied with 16-MeV deuterons, and the experimental angular distributions were analyzed to determine l values and spectroscopic strengths. Combined with previous information from radioactive decay work, the present data allow new assignments for the Jπ of levels in Ru97 and the parities of Rhg,m97. The results are also compared with previous (d, p) data on the other N=52 isotones. The measured Ru96(d, p) Q value leads to a more accurate value for the Ru97 mass excess, -86 118±9 keV.
