Abstract
The effect of DL-methionine or beta-alanine upon antibody response in pantothenic acid-deficient rats was investigated. DL-methionine possessed a significant sparing action upon the pantothenic acid requirement for antibody production. Beta-alanine was unable to replace pantothenic acid in the processes of antibody synthesis. Keywords
