Abstract
Evidence was obtained for the presence of 16a-hydroxypregn-4-ene-3,20-dione in each adrenal venous blood sample collected from 8 young pigs under conditions of operative stress. The chemical identity of this steroid was tested on ug amounts by paper and gas chromatographic methods before and after the formation of derivatives. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
