Abstract
A study has been made of the production of π-mesons in the collisions of protons having an energy of 925 mev, with the hydrogen present in nuclear emulsions. The results yield the following cross sections : Angular and momentum distributions have been obtained for particles emitted in the first process. The results may be interpreted in terms of the production of mesons by the decay of an excited nucleon. Keywords
