Abstract
Transport of oxygen atoms and molecules in a two-component plasma is considered. It is shown that the oxygen atoms consist of some components. One of them has the penetration depth typical for the neutral hydrogen, while the other component has the penetration depth of the order of the total mean free path for the oxygen neutrals. The oxygen molecules desorbed from the wall are included, their influence on the impurity transport is studied. The diffusion coefficient of the first ionization state of the oxygen is estimated and is shown to be enhanced by one order of magnitude. Implications for Tokamak discharges are discussed. Keywords
