Abstract
The results of analogue optical transmission experiments for frequency division multiplexed (FDM) colour television signals in the sub-low bands (T7 ~Tll; 5.75 MHz ~35.75 MHz) is described. In the experimental system, a hend-end (Jerrold; Commander II) provided the source signals and a commercial demodulator (Jerrold; Commander) was used to recover the video signal. The light source was a light-emitting diode (Bell Northern Research Ltd.; BNR 42-3-20) and the detector was an avalanche photodiode (RCA; C-30817).Keywords
