Abstract
We have evaluated serum bone Gla protein (BGP) changes in a double-blind study of early postmenopausal women during treatment with estrogen and calcium. To substantiate the changes in bone turnover, serum alkaline phosphatase, 24-hour urinary calcium, and bone mineral content (BMC) have also been measured. Our results indicate that serum BGP is a valuable measurement of bone metabolism. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
